Shanghai Picklebacks - Logo

The Shanghai Picklebacks are an amateur softball organization based in Shanghai, China. The team was founded by the owner of a pickle company. A "pickleback" is a shot of whiskey (typically Jameson in the case of this team) followed by a shot of pickle juice.

 

The team brings a very nonchalant attitude to the field and is not afraid to turn up to games hungover. This laid back identity was reflected in the logo where the mascot can be seen wearing slippers and sporting a bottle of Jamo in his throwing hand. The logo was used for team jerseys, hats, recruiting, and promotional materials.
